Naked Farmer Restaurant To Serve Local Foods In Downtown St. Pete
ST. PETERSBURG, FL —Naked Farmer Restaurant opens May 28 in downtown St. Petersburg at 200 Central Ave., according to a news release. The restaurant was created to serve meals created with local vegetables and local ingredients.
“Florida has rich farmland, with amazing produce grown in our backyards,” said Jordan Johnson, founder of Naked Farmer. “We set out to create a system of local sourcing that connects communities with their local farmers rather than the long-haul supply chain. We are proud to invite customers on our journey to becoming 100 percent local.”

Naked Farmer founder-owner Jordan Johnson’s initial idea was to open a brick-and-mortar. Those plans came to a halt when recently he pivoted to a digital farmer’s market to combat the effects of the pandemic . He says healthy, fresh foods should be accessible at affordable prices, no matter the circumstances.
